Description
The AD-RECON-S is American Defense Manufacturing’s straight, one-piece quick-detach scope mount for 30mm tubes. It clamps to a Picatinny rail with two of ADM’s patented QD Auto Lock levers, so you can pull the scope, move it to another rifle, and put it back without tools. The levers self-adjust to rail spec variation, which is the part that matters for shooters who swap optics between guns.
ADM machines the mount from 6061-T6 aluminum and finishes it in Type 3 hardcoat anodize. Centerline height for the 30mm version is 1.472 inches, and ADM lists the mount at 8 ounces. The rings sit directly over the base with no forward offset, so this is the mount for AR-10 pattern rifles, bolt guns, and lever guns where you do not need cantilever reach. It clears objectives up to 56mm. Lifetime warranty. Made in the USA.
Heads up: This is the straight (S) mount, not the cantilever AD-RECON. On a flat-top AR-15 with a short receiver rail, you may run out of eye relief with a longer LPVO. Check your scope’s eye relief before you order.

Who should skip it
