Description
The Geissele G2S is the budget version of the SSA. Same two-stage design, same tool steel, same wire EDM cut sears, and the same 4.25 to 4.75 lb total pull per Geissele (2.75 to 3 lb first stage, 1.5 to 1.75 lb second stage). Geissele gets the price down by holding the hammer pin a different way, skipping the laser markings, and only spot checking parts for magnetic particle inspection instead of checking every one.
It drops into any mil-spec AR-15 or AR-10 lower with standard .154 in pins and uses an M4 curved bow. Geissele says the feel and reliability match the SSA, and from the outside you cannot tell them apart. Non-adjustable. Spring kits and pins sold separately.

Who it’s for
First-time AR builders and anyone who wants a real two-stage upgrade over a mil-spec trigger without spending SSA money. Good pick for a Tactical Games or training rifle.
Who should skip it
If you want every part MP inspected and the Geissele markings, spend the extra on the SSA (05-101). Match shooters who want a lighter break should look at the SD-E or SSA-E instead, since the G2S pulls the same 4.5 lb as the SSA.
