Description
The Magpul DAKA Takeout, Large is a small open-top tote with a full-length zipper, built from the same welded DAKA fabric as the pouches. It is 12 by 6.5 by 9 inches, about 8.9 liters, which is the right size for a pistol match kit: two boxes of ammo, mags, ear pro, a timer, and a water bottle. Magpul pitches it as a grab bag for a car kit, tool kit, or light range bag. This is the black version.
The body is reinforced polymer-infused fabric with RF-welded seams and a reinforced base so it stands up open. The 18.5-inch YKK AquaGuard water-repellent zipper runs the full length of the top with a 550 paracord pull. Two quick-release side buckles let the top spread wider for loading, and the straps can be unbuckled to hang the bag. Two carry handles on top. Magpul lists it at 14.6 oz. Bag only.

Who it’s for
Steel Challenge and USPSA shooters who want a light, one-gun bag for a local match, or anyone who wants a wipe-clean tote for a truck kit or a chrono setup.
Who should skip it
There are no internal dividers, mag loops, or padded pockets. If you want a structured bag that holds mags upright and has a pistol compartment, the Magpul DAKA Range Bag, Small is the better buy at 20 liters. A rifle shooter’s full kit will not fit in 8.9 liters.
