Description
This Geissele Super Precision is the 30mm mount built specifically for the Vortex Razor HD Gen II 1-6×24, here in Desert Dirt Color (DDC). The Razor 1-6 has a short tube section between the turret housing and the objective bell, and its eye relief wants the scope well forward. Geissele spaced the rings and set the base length around that scope. The base spans eight Picatinny slots, one more than the standard mount, and it is part of the Geissele SOPMOD Certified series tested by USSOCOM.
It is machined from a single block of 7075-T6 aluminum, weighs 7.1 oz per Geissele, and clamps with two nut-and-bolt fasteners at about 1,400 lb of force each. Shear lugs in the rail slots take recoil so the mount does not walk. Finish is Type 3 hardcoat anodize in DDC, a tan-brown that matches Geissele’s DDC rails. The black version is 05-329B.
Heads up: This mount is cut for the Razor HD Gen II 1-6×24 body. It may not fit other 30mm scopes with different tube lengths. For a general purpose 30mm mount, use the 30mm Standard or Extended.

Who should skip it
Anyone with a different scope, and anyone who does not care about color, since the black version (05-329B) is about 25 dollars less. For other 30mm LPVOs, the Geissele 30mm Standard or Extended fits a wider range of tube lengths.
