Description
Super Vel Hush Puppy Certified Select is a remanufactured subsonic 9mm load. Super Vel loads a 147 grain full metal jacket bullet on once-fired brass and lists it at 900 fps, well under the speed of sound, with a USPSA power factor of 132. This is the 1,000-round case packed as ten 100-round boxes, so every hundred rounds stays boxed instead of loose in a bag.
Super Vel builds Certified Select on the same machines and under the same quality control as its factory-new ammo, with once-fired brass that is inspected and reloaded. The load is meant for suppressed shooting and low recoil. Super Vel warns that it may not cycle some pistols with the factory recoil spring, and a reduced-power spring may be needed. You get ten 100-round boxes in a case.

Who should skip it
This is remanufactured ammo. Some ranges and some matches prohibit reman, so check the rules first. It is not for defensive use, and the velocity and power factor are Super Vel’s, not ours. At 147 grains and 900 fps it sits around 132 power factor, above the USPSA Minor floor of 125 but not by much, so chrono it in your gun before relying on it at a match. It may not cycle a stock unsuppressed pistol with a heavy recoil spring. Do not buy a case before running the 100-round box. If boxes do not matter to you, the 1,000-round loose-bag pack is cheaper.
