Description
The Arisaka Defense Hand Stop M-LOK is a small aluminum stop that bolts to the bottom or side of your handguard. Your support hand pulls against it to load the rifle into your shoulder, and it keeps your fingers from sliding forward past the muzzle on a short rail. Flip it around and it works as a barricade stop instead. At 0.8 oz it is one of the lighter hand stops on the market.
It is machined from 6061-T651 aluminum with a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized finish. The profile is low, about 1.3 in. tall, and Arisaka shapes it to work with a range of hand sizes. The kit includes the hand stop, two M-LOK nuts, and two 10-24×5/16 in. Torx button head screws. You need an IP20 TorxPlus driver to install it, and that is not included. Made in the USA.

3-Gun, multigun, and Tactical Games shooters who drive the rifle with a forward support hand and want a fixed reference point that also works off barricades.
Who should skip it
If you shoot with a C-clamp grip wrapped over the top of the rail, a hand stop under the rail may never touch your hand. If you want a full vertical grip to hang onto, this is not that. Shooters on a Geissele SMR 416 rail should look at the Arisaka Indexer for that rail instead, since the SMR 416 has no M-LOK slots.
