Description
The G-Code Firebase is a rubberized base that goes over the bottom of a rifle magazine. It does two jobs. It gives you a bigger, grippy surface to grab when you pull a mag from a pouch or strip one from the gun. And when you shoot off the magazine on a barricade or the ground, the textured bottom keeps the rifle from skating on the surface.
G-Code lists fitment for Magpul PMAGs, AK magazines, and metal AR magazines, and says it fits most popular mags. The base has a reinforced triangular structure that holds its shape under load, and it protects the floorplate from dirt and scrapes. This is the black two-pack. Coyote brown and ranger green are also made.

Who it’s for
3-Gun and Tactical Games shooters who load the rifle off the mag on barricades and want something better than a bare floorplate on a slick surface.
Who should skip it
If your pouches are already tight on a bare PMAG, the added bulk at the base can change the fit and the draw. Shooters who run Magpod-style bases or extended base pads already have the grip and stance covered and do not need a second layer.
