Description

The Geissele S3G is a competition trigger built for speed. Geissele calls it a hybrid rolling break, a cross between a single-stage and a two-stage. There is no distinct wall. The pull is short and rolls straight into the break, and the reset is very short. Geissele rates it at 3 to 4 lb with the lighter spring installed, or 4.5 to 5.5 lb with the heavier spring.

It drops into any mil-spec AR-15 or AR-10 lower with standard .154 in pins and uses an M4 curved bow. Both springs come in the box so you can pick your weight. Geissele is direct about the use case: this is a 3-Gun trigger. They do not recommend it for duty, bench rest, or shooting small groups.

Heads up: The rolling break has no wall to stage against. If you shoot precision rifle stages and like to prep the trigger, you will want a two-stage instead.

Who it’s for

3-Gun and multigun shooters running a dedicated match rifle who want the shortest, fastest pull and reset Geissele makes. It shines on close, fast rifle stages and hoser arrays.

Who should skip it

If your rifle also does precision work or defensive duty, get the SSA-E or SD-E instead. They give you a wall to stage against and a heavier, safer first stage. If you want the S3G feel on a flat bow, the SD-3G is the same trigger with a flat shoe.
