JP Enterprises one-piece Enhanced Gas Ring for AR-15 bolts. A 3-layer replacement for standard three-piece rings, precision-ground for mil-spec bolts and the JP EnhancedBolt. JP designed it to balance gas seal with low friction and scrape carbon as it cycles. Fits 5.56/.223/300 BLK. Made in USA.
Standard AR-15 bolts use three separate gas rings. This is a one-piece replacement: a single 3-layer ring that drops into the same groove. JP designed it for a cleaner gas seal with less friction between the ring and the carrier, which slightly widens the rifle's reliability window. That helps most on a setup running reduced gas or a suppressor. The ring edge is also shaped to scrape carbon off the carrier wall as the action cycles, so it sheds fouling instead of packing it in.
This is a small reliability and maintenance upgrade, not a part a shooter will feel on the clock. If the three-piece rings are worn or a bolt is due for a refresh, it is an inexpensive, sensible swap. If the current rings still seal fine, there is no urgent reason to change them.

Description

The JP Enterprises .223 Enhanced Gas Ring is a one-piece replacement for the standard three-piece gas ring set on an AR-15 bolt. It installs in the same ring groove on the bolt and is precision-ground to fit mil-spec bolts as well as the JP EnhancedBolt.
The one-piece, three-layer design is built to balance a solid gas seal against low friction between the ring and the bolt carrier interior. JP states that the lower friction widens the rifle's operational window, which helps on setups running reduced gas or a suppressor. The ring edge also scrapes the carrier wall as the action cycles, which helps shed carbon fouling during use.
This part is compatible with AR-15 platform bolts chambered in 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, and 300 Blackout. It is a direct replacement and requires no modification. Made in the USA.
