Description
The Magpul DAKA Magnetic Field Tray, Large is a square sheet of DAKA fabric that snaps up into a parts tray for cleaning and repairs. A magnet under the Magpul logo in the center holds pins, detents, and screws when the tray gets bumped. Unsnap the corners and it stores flat in a range bag or on a shelf. This is the flat dark earth version, and the lighter color makes small dark parts easier to see.
The tray is reinforced polymer fabric with RF-welded construction and an anti-slip texture on the bottom. Magpul specs it as chemical resistant and non-hygroscopic, so solvent and oil wipe off and do not soak in. Flat it measures 11.5 by 11.5 inches. Snapped up, the tray floor is 8.75 by 8.75 inches, which is enough for a full AR bolt carrier group teardown or a pistol detail strip. Tray only.
