Description

The Radian Vertex is a single-stage drop-in AR trigger with a 3.5 to 4 lb pull and a curved bow. What makes it different is where the bow sits. Radian moved the trigger bow forward and up in the housing, so your finger presses more in line with the pivot and the pull feels straighter and cleaner than a standard AR trigger’s arc. Radian also specs a short, strong reset.

It is a self-contained cassette. The housing is machined from aluminum and hard-coat anodized black, and the module installs on mil-spec 0.154 in hammer and trigger pins with no fitting. Radian uses an S7 shock-resistant tool steel hammer and a 1144 carbon steel trigger bow, with wire-EDM finished sear surfaces. Radian lists it for AR-15 and AR-10 lowers. Listed weight is about 0.24 lb. In the box: the Vertex cassette and a set of 0.154 in hammer and trigger pins.

Who it’s for

Shooters building a Radian-equipped rifle or anyone who wants a drop-in trigger with a straighter pull path and a 3.5 to 4 lb break for Tactical Games, general match use, or a do-everything carbine.

Who should skip it

If you want a lighter break for 3-Gun, the Timney AR-15 Competition 667-S drops in at a fixed 3 lb, and the Timney AR Calvin Elite (660CE) goes down to 1.5 to 2 lb with adjustments. If you want a flat shoe, Radian makes the Vertex in a flat version (ACC-0017) that we do not stock at the moment.
