Description
The Real Avid Chamber Boss is a handle-and-shaft tool built to clean the one spot on an AR-15 that a bore snake never touches: the chamber and the barrel extension lugs. The handle self-centers in the upper so the head lines up with the lugs, and you spin it to scrape, brush, and wipe the chamber without gouging anything.
The kit is the handle with an integrated black-oxide steel shaft, a scraper for the barrel extension, an AR-15 chamber brush, five wool star chamber pads pre-soaked in CLP, and a pivot lock that holds the upper open at a working angle. All the heads store inside the handle. Use it with the upper pivoted open on the lower or with the upper off the gun.

Who should skip it
If you already own a rod, a chamber brush, and star pads, this buys you a nicer handle and not much else. It is also AR-15 only. A .308 AR needs the AR10 version of this tool.
