JP Double Crush Washer for 1/2-28 .223/5.56 barrels, .750 OD, black. A JP redesign built to auto-center and crush consistently so a compensator times cleanly. Functions as a single-use crush washer.
Crush washers are the usual way to time a compensator, and they are usually a fight. JP designed the Double Crush Washer to take the struggle out of that step. It is built to auto-center on the barrel and crush smoothly and consistently, so a comp can be timed without wrestling it.
This is a 1/2-28 washer with a .750 outside diameter in black, sized for standard .223/5.56 muzzle threads. Like any crush washer, it sets timing through compression, so plan on a fresh washer if the muzzle device comes back off later. For a clean comp install, JP's design is aimed at making that one job repeatable.

Description

The JP Double Crush Washer is a muzzle device crush washer for 1/2-28 threaded .223 and 5.56 barrels, with a .750 inch outside diameter and a black finish. It secures and times a compensator or other muzzle device as it is torqued onto the barrel.
JP describes the washer as a redesign of the standard crush washer, built to auto-center on the barrel and provide a smooth, consistent crush so a compensator can be installed without the usual struggle. It still functions as a crush washer, which means timing is set by compression and the washer is best treated as single-use. Replacing the muzzle device later typically calls for a new washer.
