The JP Small Frame Firing Pin is a replacement firing pin for AR-15 (small-frame) bolt carrier groups chambered in .223/5.56. The firing pin strikes the primer to fire the round and is a normal wear item in any AR-15.
JP manufactures this pin from hardened tool steel and applies a nitride coating, which the company states increases wear life over a standard firing pin.
