Description

The Geissele SD-C is the flat bow version of the SSA. Same two-stage, non-adjustable fire control, same 4.25 to 4.75 lb total pull per Geissele, with a 2.75 to 3 lb first stage and a 1.5 to 1.75 lb second stage. The flat bow changes where your finger sits. Lower on the bow means more leverage, so the pull feels lighter than the number, and the flat face gives a consistent finger position shot to shot.

It drops into any mil-spec AR-15 or AR-10 lower with standard .154 in pins. Tool steel trigger and hammer, full-power hammer spring, and a rolling break Geissele describes as sharp and repeatable. Replacement spring kits and pins sold separately. Install is the standard two-pin job with a punch.

Who it’s for

Shooters who want SSA reliability on a do-everything carbine but prefer a flat bow. Good fit for Tactical Games rifles and training guns where a 4.5 lb pull is a feature, not a bug.

Who should skip it

If you already like the M4 curved bow, the SSA (05-101) is the same trigger for the same money. If you want a lighter flat bow for match work, step up to the SD-E, which breaks at 2.9 to 3.8 lb.
