Description
This is a 45 inch replacement magazine spring for a 12 gauge shotgun running an extension tube. Nordic ships it long on purpose. You cut it to fit your combined tube length, so one spring covers everything from a stock tube to a full-length 3-Gun extension. A tired spring is the usual cause of the last shell failing to feed, and a fresh one is the cheapest fix.
Nordic lists it as fitting most factory 12 gauge magazine tubes and their MXT extension tubes. To fit it, assemble the tube, insert the spring, and trim it so there is enough spring past the end of the empty tube to keep tension on the last shell once the cap is on. Cut a little at a time and test with dummy rounds. Too short and the last round drags. Too long and you fight the cap on.

Who it’s for
3-Gun shotgun shooters replacing a worn spring in a Nordic MXT or other extended tube, and anyone building an extension who needs a spring long enough for the full length.
Who should skip it
If you run a factory-length tube with no extension, the stock spring or a drop-in factory replacement fits without trimming. Shooters who buy a complete Nordic MXT kit already get a spring with it and do not need this.
