Super Vel loads a 124 grain jacketed hollow point built for accuracy rather than expansion and lists it at 1,050 fps, about 130 power factor. This is the single 50-round box, sized for a Bianchi Cup or NRA Action Pistol match, or for accuracy testing before you buy a case.
Super Vel says the bullet is held to tight tolerances on both dimensions and weight. The design puts a flat copper base on the projectile so powder gas pushes it evenly down the bore, and the hollow point nose is shaped for feeding reliability, not terminal performance. Super Vel names NRA Action Shooting, Bianchi Cup, and USPSA as the target disciplines. You get one 50-round box.

Who should skip it
The accuracy claims are Super Vel’s and this is a hollow point built for paper, so do not treat it as a defensive load. It costs roughly twice what Certified Select 124gr FMJ does per round, so for plain practice buy the reman FMJ and save the Ultra Match for matches. If you shoot a lot of it, the 1,000-round case of twenty boxes is the better per-round price.
