Description
The Blue Force Gear Padded Vickers Sling is the padded version of the two-point sling that most of the industry copied. It is a quick-adjust two-point: pull the tab and the sling goes slack so you can shoulder the rifle or switch shoulders, push the adjuster back and it cinches the rifle tight to your body. The 2 in. pad sits over your shoulder and neck and stays put, which is what you want when the rifle is hanging while you shoot pistol or move between positions. This one is MultiCam Black.
The webbing is 1.25 in. solution-dyed Cordura, and the padded section is 2 in. tubular webbing over closed-cell foam that Blue Force Gear says will not soak up water or separate. The OA in the part number means acetal hardware: DuPont Zytel nylon adjuster and triglides, which are quieter and lighter than metal. Length adjusts from 57 to 67 in. It weighs about 140 g, just under 5 oz. The sling ships with tri-glides and no swivels, so you attach it to your existing sling loops or add push-button QD swivels. Made in the USA with a 10 year warranty.

Who should skip it
If you want to switch to single-point for a stage, the Vickers 221 Padded 2-to-1 Sling we carry does that and this one does not. This sling does not include QD swivels, so budget for a pair if your rifle uses QD sockets. If you prefer metal hardware, order the metal version instead of the OA.
