Description
The Geissele Super Tricon is an SSA-weight two-stage trigger with a different bow. Geissele built it with Jeff Gonzales of Trident Concepts, and the Tricon bow is a hybrid between curved and flat with a ribbed face for grip. Geissele rates the pull at 4.25 to 4.75 lb total, 2.75 to 3 lb first stage and 1.5 to 1.75 lb second stage, with what they call a carrot-like second stage break.
It drops into any mil-spec AR-15 or AR-10 lower with standard .154 in pins. Tool steel construction and a full-power hammer spring, same as the SSA line. Non-adjustable. The ribbed bow is the whole point here, so if you shoot with gloves or wet hands, that texture gives your finger something to index on. Spring kits and pins sold separately.

Who should skip it
If you do not care about the ribbed bow, the SSA (05-101) is the same fire control with a plain curved shoe. Match shooters who want a lighter break should look at the SD-E or SSA-E, since the Tricon pulls the full 4.5 lb.
