Description
This is the blue training version of the North American Rescue Gen 7 C-A-T. It is built the same way as the black and orange issue tourniquets, with the same 1.5 inch strap, single-routing buckle, and locking windlass, so every rep you do on it transfers to the real thing. The blue color exists so nobody confuses it with a live tourniquet.
This is a training tool only. It is not intended for use on a real injury. Tourniquets wear out with repeated application. The trainer lets you burn through hundreds of one-handed and two-handed reps, on yourself and on a partner, while your live C-A-T stays sealed and ready. It folds to the same 6.5 by 2.4 inches as the issue model, so you can also use it to practice drawing from your belt holder or case. One trainer per package.

Who it’s for
Anyone who carries a live C-A-T and wants to drill with it. Pair it with a black or orange C-A-T and practice until the application is automatic. Good for clubs running a stop-the-bleed session before a match.
Who should skip it
If you are buying one tourniquet to stage in your range bag for an emergency, this is the wrong one. Buy the black or orange C-A-T Gen 7 instead. The blue trainer is a second purchase, not a substitute.
