Description
The Geissele Super Compact Gas Block is a low-profile .750 in gas block for AR-15 barrels. It is investment cast from precipitation hardened stainless steel, finished black, and sized to hide under most free-float handguards. What sets it apart from a generic set screw block is the install option. It ships with two set screws for a standard install, plus a coil pin for what Geissele calls the bombproof install, where you drill through the block and barrel and pin it so it cannot slide or rotate.
The box includes the gas block, two set screws, the bombproof coil pin, a gas tube roll pin, and a stainless steel alignment dowel. The dowel indexes the block to the gas port on Geissele cold hammer forged barrels that have the matching dimple. On other barrels you align it the usual way. Fits any .750 in gas journal barrel. Gas tube not included.

Who it’s for
AR-15 builders putting together a competition or hard use rifle who want the option to pin the gas block so it never moves. A good match for a Geissele CHF barrel, where the alignment dowel does the indexing for you.
Who should skip it
Barrels with a .625 in or .875 in gas journal need a different block. If you want an adjustable gas block to tune a 3-Gun rifle for light loads, this is a fixed block and will not do that. And if you are not going to pin it, a basic set screw block from any maker does the same job for less.
