Description
The Geissele Super Precision is a one-piece AR-15 scope mount machined from a single block of 7075-T6 aluminum. This is the 30mm ring, Extended length version in black. Extended moves the rings about 1.16 in forward of the mount base, versus 0.63 in on the Standard, so you can push the scope farther forward for more eye relief or to clear a short scope body over the receiver. Return to zero is the design goal: four shear lugs take recoil in the rail slots, and two nut-and-bolt clamps each put about 1,400 lb of force on the rail, per Geissele.
The base spans seven Picatinny slots. Rings are 0.75 in wide with 2.8 in between them, and the caps swap between towers without affecting precision. Finish is Type 3 hardcoat anodize in black. Also made in Desert Dirt Color, and in Standard and Hyper Extended lengths.

Who it’s for
3-Gun and Tactical Games shooters running a 30mm LPVO who shoot with a longer length of pull, a nose-to-charging-handle stance, or a scope with short eye relief and need the optic farther forward than a Standard mount allows.
Who should skip it
If a Standard mount already puts your eye box where you want it, the 30mm Standard (05-404B) keeps the weight closer to the receiver. 34mm tubes need the 34mm Extended (05-405B). Shooters who swap optics between rifles will be happier with a QD mount.
