Description
The Strike Industries Flip Switch is an ambidextrous AR-15 safety selector with a lever on each side and a choice of 60 or 90 degree throw. The short 60 degree throw means your thumb sweeps the safety off with less travel on the buzzer, and the second lever lets a left-handed shooter, or your support-side thumb on a transition, work the safety without reaching over. It is aluminum, so it weighs less than a steel ambi safety.
The kit is modular: a 60/90 shaft, a right side lever, a left side lever, an end cap, and two shaft screws. You pick the throw when you assemble it. Install is the same as any AR safety: pull the grip, remove the detent and spring, slide the shaft in, and attach the levers. It fits mil-spec AR-15 lowers and standard fire control groups. This is the black anodized version.
Heads up: Strike states the Flip Switch is not compatible with HIPERFIRE triggers. Check that your lower has the 60 degree detent notch or accepts the shaft’s own stop before you commit to the short throw.

Who should skip it
